About Us
Public Consulting Group (PCG) provides CalWORKs and Refugee Employment Services to CalWORKs families in the East, South, and Central regions of San Diego County. The CalWORKs Employment Services (WTW) Program is a comprehensive Employment and Training Program designed to promote self-sufficiency. CalWORKs recipients are assessed to determine the best course of action, whether it is immediate placement into a job, placement into an education or training program, or both. PCG’s goal is to assist CalWORKs recipients in obtaining employment through job readiness, job search activities, and other employment-directed activities. We provide supportive services such as childcare, transportation payments, work-related expenses, diapers, housing assistance, vehicle repair, to support families in building toward self-sufficiency.
